It's no secret that I love pizza. I've gone so far as to buy a top of the line bread machine, in effort to make a better pizza crust.
To be honest, my goal was to out do my sister-in-law, who up until a couple of weeks ago made the best homemade pizza I've ever tasted. Everytime she made it, I'd try to convince her to share her secret... but no such luck.
One night, while searching for a better sauce recipe... because that is what I thought I needed, I ran accross a great DVD/book set called Secrets from Inside the Pizzeria by Bev Collins. I made the decision to buy it and all I can say is Bev is now my new best friend. :) Thank you, Bev!
Bev previously worked in the Pizza Research industry for a major pizza company. At the time, traveling around the world in effort to learn everything she could about pizza.
To date, my husband and I have made seven pizzas using all of the methods Bev has so kindly taught us. (My husband is the one who tosses the dough.) Each attempt just gets better and better.
For less than the price of two large take-out pizzas, we were able to attend a pizza making class, right in our kitchen. How convenient is that?
